Guide to Taking Impressions at Home
Taking your own impressions can be challenging especially if it’s your first time. Some would say it’s fun while others may say the opposite. If you have already watched our instruction video and read the instruction pamphlet found in your impression kits and are still having questions about ‘how to take your own impression’ then please reach out to us with your inquiry. In some instances, we are available to offer some additional information on how to take your own impressions via Zoom’s video conference-calling. It’s important to note that you should not be taking impressions over any areas that could potentially prevent the impression material from being easily removed from your mouth. Some examples would include braces, orthodontic wiring, extremely divergent positioning of natural teeth creating large areas of undercut, bridges with large enclosed gaps between the bridge and the gums, etc. If you are concerned whether taking your own impressions is right for you, please contact us via our online chat or email info@CANAwhite.ca
